About us
In November 2016, we proudly acquired Hudson's Pet Supplies est. 1938; a classic pet shop known for offering pet food, bedding, and even live animals. Since then, we've evolved into a modern hub for pet care, placing pet health and well-being at the heart of everything we do. Now, in 2025, we continue to build on that mission every day.
Our journey began with our beloved dog, Blossom. She had always been notoriously picky and, after falling ill, her food options became increasingly limited. Desperate to help her, we turned to fresh, raw food as our last hope—and it changed everything. That choice gave us six extra, wonderful years with our best friend. Seeing the incredible benefits first hand, we knew we had to share this with other pet owners.
Meet the Owners
Emma and Jon, a husband-and-wife duo, are the passionate team behind The Dog's Deli.
Emma has been dedicated to expanding her extensive knowledge of our canine companions since taking over the shop in 2016. She has earned two Level 3 Diplomas (Merit & Distinction) and completed numerous certifications in Canine and Feline Nutrition. Coming from a family of canine enthusiasts and professionals, Emma has gained invaluable expertise over the years.
Jon is the creative force behind the shop's layout, its name, product names, and new product ideas. He’s also the go-to guy for all the DIY and freezer mishaps at the shop and, of course, all things dog-related. With over a decade of listening to Emma share her passion for dogs, Jon has developed an impressive knowledge of his own, fuelled by his deep passion for dogs and their health..
